Conan The Barbarian

"Conan The Barbarian" comes back with a vengeance. Jason Momoa es a perfect match and assumes the role left by Arnold Schwarzenegger more than 20 years ago. Yes, he is not Arnold but he fills the role with a nice physique and overtakes it with a lot more acting skills than his predecessor. The movie is based on the original idea as written by Thomas Dean Donnelly but with a lot of different twist and turns that make this a more modern and updated version of the original. Special effects and movie magic make this a movie with a lot higher standard than the original. Acting is also improved with Ron Perlman (Hell Boy, Sons of Anarchy) as Conan's father, Stephen Lang (Avatar, Terra Nova) as the evil Khalar Zym and the beautiful Rachel Nichols (G.I. Joe, Star Treck) as Conan's love interest. The story is basically the same but there is a lot more to it with the plot being augmented ten fold. The photography and the sound are outstanding and it is a pleasure to watch it on 3D where it shines. "Conan The Barbarian" is an spectacle of blood, sweat and beauty and it complies with the "R" rated classification down to a tee, but the story leads you to see everything as part of a whole savage and ancient world where these were things of everyday life. Killed or be killed, love and revenge are the laws and surviving the mission. "Conan The Barbarian" is a thrill ride that is best suited for the strong at heart and the light headed. So go prepared to live large!!

All right--now I can get excited about seeing this. You shoulda seen the review they published in my local newspaper where they totally trashed this! Welcome to HUB writing. I enjoyed this very much. You have this laid out beautifully and it is easy to understand. Keep up the great HUBS. I must give this an “Up ONE and Useful.” I'm now your fan! RJ
