I like movies because for a while you can forget about everything, sit down and live somebody else life. "Man on a Ledge" is pure entertainment, it keeps you fixed to the screen from beginning to end.
The story is original and inventive, we go hand and hand with Nick Cassidy a cop accused of a crime he didn't commit and the whole movie takes us thru his quest to redeem himself and his name and bring the real crook to justice.
Sam Worthington (Avatar, Clash of the Titans, Terminator: Salvation) is perfect as Nick Cassidy and brings with him an excellent supporting cast that includes Ed Harris (The Abyss, A Beautiful Mind, The Rock) as the bad guy, the beautiful Elizabeth Banks (The Next Three Days, Spider Man, The 40 Year Old VIrgin) as the officer in charge, Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot, Jumper, King Kong) as Nick's brother Joey and many others that give the film substance and character support.
The action sequences are exhilarating and the direction is right on and brings the whole movie together masterfully.
"Man On A Ledge" is one of those movies that never goes down, never looses your interest and never lets go. You will enjoy the ride and come out begging for more...
