Safe House

"Safe House" is a thrilling ride from beginning to end. It will just raise your pulse to the point of chest pains.
Denzel Washington (DejaVu, Man on Fire, Inside Man) is superb, as always, portraying a CIA operative gone rogue that runs like hell trying to stay alive while everybody is trying to get him. Ryan Reynolds (Green Lantern, Buried, The Proposal) compliments the movie perfectly as the rookie grasping air trying to match up with his counterpart, learning and struggling to complete his task and get his man.
The action sequences are right on following the successful style set by "The Bourne trilogy" that seems to be the standard when dealing with spy movies, and shoots adrenaline thru out your body and makes you grind your teeth and your palms sweat.
The Director, Daniel Espinoza, does and excellent job and proves himself worthy of the stature of one of the greatest actors of our time. Washington just owns the character and transforms into a cold ice killing machine while getting under your skin and inside your head.
"Safe House" will surely get you going, make you skip a beat and take a breath to come back for more... and suddenly the credits role in.
